The seafood chowder is to die for, the guinness is great, and I don't particularly like guinness. Whether it's a sunny day and you're outside sitting by the weir or on a cold winter's day by the fire, the standard is always the same....superb!!! The staff are all lovely and the service is always really really good!

I's a great place to take people if you're collecting them from Shannon, or on your way's really genuinely Irish without the embarrassing tack!

I'm not the biggest fan of seafood so I can't say that I was ecstatic when one of the guys I was playing golf with at the weekend proposed we dined here. The menu is limited for meatitarians like myself so I had to settle for vegetable soup and a baked ham salad which wasn't bad but judging by the reports back from the other lads the seafood is about as good as it gets. What I can confirm firsthand though is that Moran's serves a savage pint of Guinness in a great setting.... and that there's nothing better than buttered brown bread with a pint of plain!
